Intuit's Chief Accounting Officer organization is seeking a full-time Accountant to join its Shared Services team in India. This role is central to the accurate and timely execution of general ledger (GL) accounting activities, and to preserving the integrity of Intuit's financial records in accordance with US GAAP and company policy. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can independently manage day-to-day accounting deliverables, apply sound accounting judgment, partner effectively with cross-functional and global stakeholders, and consistently meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Responsibilities
This role is within the Controllership, Assurance & Operations organization. The position is located in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate and lead across multiple functions and roles to achieve accounting objectives. If and when issues are identified, the leader will use their strong change management skills and to drive issues through to resolution and subsequent validation with the full transparency of involved stakeholders at all levels within the larger Intuit organization.
Qualifications
● 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, including accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
● Experience with SaaS or software-related accounting strongly preferred.
● Public accounting or experience at a large public company is highly desirable.
● Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-business-unit environment.
● Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
● Working knowledge of Oracle and BlackLine is a plus.
● Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
● Proficiency in PC applications, spreadsheets, and word processing tools.
● Chartered Accountant/CPA with minimum of 4 years experience preferred.
