About the team
Fintech Tech Strategy & Planning is the intelligence and execution backbone for Intuit's Fintech organization — a revenue-critical, highly regulated business of roughly 1,600 full-time employees. The team owns end-to-end strategic planning, org excellence, business data & analytics, finance operations for the org, producing the centralized org health dashboards that leadership relies on to run the business.
We're rethinking this function for the age of AI: moving from reactive reporting to predictive, decision-driving portfolio intelligence, and from manually maintained artifacts to an integrated, agent-assisted operating system for planning and execution.
About the role
This role is Fintech's change leader for in-year execution. You're accountable for how successfully Fintech executes on its annual plan, and you scale that outcome through two connected levers: driving real adoption of the planning and execution tools the org already has, and building the new tooling and automation — including for the TPM function itself — that in-year execution depends on as the portfolio grows. Adoption and creation are the same job here, not two separate ones: you're the person who both gets the org to use what exists and builds what's missing, so the function's capacity to drive execution grows faster than its headcount. You close the loop between what leadership commits to and what gets shipped.
You'll work closely with the Tech Strategy & Planning team (Finance Operations, Business Data & Analytics, End-to-End Strategic Planning), and you'll partner directly with VP-level product, technology, finance, and talent acquisition leaders across Fintech.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
Own the in-year execution cadence: quarterly planning, cutline and deprioritization reviews, milestone and dependency tracking, and portfolio SOT maintenance that keeps commitments honest throughout the fiscal year.
Act as the change leader behind the org's ways of working: retire ad hoc, manual processes in favor of standardized approaches, and scale the org's execution capacity through two connected levers — driving adoption of planning and execution tools (Jira standardization, the Fintech Portfolio source of truth, execution dashboards, AI-assisted planning workbooks and agents) until they're habitually used, and building the tooling and automation — including for the TPM/PMO function itself — that removes the manual bottlenecks standing between the org and successful in-year execution at scale.
Partner with VP-level stakeholders to remove execution friction and enforce consistent delivery standards across a 1,600-person, multi-VP organization.
Build and monitor execution health metrics — say/do ratio, milestone slip, tool adoption rates — that surface risk early and feed leadership's dashboards and command center.
Own the feedback loop on both the tools you drive adoption of and the tools you build: iterate quickly based on what's working and what's not in the field, rather than declaring victory at launch.
Report out on execution and transformation progress directly to VP/SVP-level stakeholders, translating field signal into clear, decision-ready updates.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
Required
8+ years driving in-year execution or delivery management at scale: quarterly planning, portfolio tracking, milestone/dependency management, cutline and prioritization reviews.
Proven track record as a change leader who scales execution capacity both ways — driving adoption of tools and processes across a large (1,500+ person), cross-functional organization until they stick, and personally building or significantly scaling the tooling and automation that removed a real manual bottleneck, with evidence of the capacity or impact it unlocked.
Experience leading org-wide ways-of-working transformations that replaced manual or ad hoc processes with scalable ones.
Demonstrated ability to drive execution at speed without compromising quality — a bias for action balanced with rigor.
Excellent stakeholder management and influence-without-authority skills, including experience partnering directly with VP and executive-level leaders.
Data-driven mindset; comfortable defining and tracking the execution and adoption metrics that prove a transformation is working.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to distill complexity into clear, actionable guidance for both executives and frontline teams.
Preferred
Experience in an enterprise tech company or product development organization.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Tableau, or similar source-of-truth and dashboarding platforms.
Experience designing or rolling out AI-enabled or agentic workflows within planning and execution processes.
