Maintenance Supervisor Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities :

As part of the diverse team of engineers/supervisors supporting a high-volume production facility and reporting to the Deputy Production Director, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance technician.
• Plan, schedule, and assign preventive and corrective maintenance work.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure proper functioning
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, tools, and inventory.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when required
• Train, coach, and evaluate maintenance staff performance
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and breakdowns
• Recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and cost savings
• Support continuous improvement in compliance with the requirements of Quality, Environmental, and Security Management Systems.

Profile and skills:

General

• Master in Electromechanics (Higher-level education preferred but experience will be considered).
• Between 2 and 5+ years of relevant work experience (leading maintenance or technical department).
• Lean-Six sigma tools or equivalent (The 5 Whys, The 5S System, Kaizen (Continuous Improvement), Poka-yoke (Mistake Proofing).

Technical knowledge

• People management skills.
• Experience in technical evaluation of machines
• Knowledge of TPM
• Experience in solving problems
• 3 years’ experience in a high-speed production of electronic or electro mechanic products in a very high quality and high flexibility-demanding environment (industrial, aeronautic, automotive …).
• MS Office.
• Experience in using ERP for the main functionalities used in a production environment (SAP is a plus).
