Duties and Responsibilities:


As developer in the system team, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop & Debug low-level firmware for multicore embedded platforms – based on Linux & Ekinops proprietary real-time OS.
  • Build and optimize high-performance software focused on low latency, high throughput and reliability.
  • Implement, integrate, troubleshoot ethernet switch drivers, ensuring robust connectivity and optimal system performance.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and design reusable components for NextGen platforms.
  • Maintain clear documentation for designs, interfaces, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate in an Agile development environment, contributing to sprints, code reviews, continuous improvement, and cross functional teamwork (hardware & QA teams).

Profile and skills:

You are a self-driven engineer who takes initiative, demonstrates technical depth in embedded systems, and combines hands-on development skills with architectural thinking.


Must-have

  • Master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in embedded software or firmware development
  • Strong expertise in C programming for constrained/real-time environments
  • Basic knowledge of data telecommunications and networking technologies, standards and protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and datasheets


Preferred (Plus)

  • Experience with Layer 2 & Layer 3 Ethernet switches and features such as VLAN design, trunking, Spanning Tree, static routing, and network troubleshooting
  • Proven experience in Linux/Kernel development and debugging workflows
  • Hands-on experience developing software in multicore embedded systems
