Join Ideagen as a Cyber Security Manager and lead our security operations, risk management, compliance activities, and customer security assurance across a global SaaS environment.

Reporting to the VP Global Cyber Security Officer, you'll play a key role in protecting our business and customers while managing a small team and working closely with Engineering, CloudOps, Legal, and Commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead security operations, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Manage and optimise security technologies, including WAF, EDR, SIEM, and DLP tools.
• Drive remediation activities and maintain security risk registers.
• Support compliance programmes, audits, and security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
• Lead customer security reviews, questionnaires, and third-party security assessments.
• Manage external security partners and penetration testing activities.
• Mentor and develop a small cyber security team.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience leading cyber security operations in a SaaS, cloud, or regulated environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with vulnerability management, incident response, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Knowledge of cloud security across AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, DLP, and application security platforms.
• Ability to communicate technical risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing third-party security providers or SOC partners.

Nice to Have

• CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, cloud security, or similar certifications.
• Knowledge of Australian security and privacy regulations.
• Experience in highly regulated industries and Agile/DevOps environments.
