Job Summary

As a Senior Product Manager within the Cloud Delivered Security Services (CDSS) organization, you will champion product excellence for Advanced URL Filtering and Web Protection solutions. You will translate strategic vision into high-quality product capabilities that protect critical web applications, APIs, and AI services from sophisticated threats. By collaborating with Engineering, Threat Research, and UX teams, you will leverage inline machine learning and AI-driven detection to design robust defenses. Embracing a data-driven philosophy, you will continuously analyze telemetry to iterate on features, ensuring our solutions remain resilient and essential for global enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the day-to-day execution of the CDSS Advanced URL Filtering product roadmap and overarching strategy.

  • Translate overarching strategy into actionable product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications for engineering teams.

  • Lead the development of advanced web protection capabilities to detect and mitigate complex URL-centric attacks.

  • Partner with engineering leads and scrum teams to manage agile development cycles and feature delivery.

  • Engage with customers to analyze cloud-native deployments, identify capability gaps, and inform feature prioritization.

  • Monitor product telemetry and threat intelligence feeds to optimize security rules and machine learning models.

  • Support product and technical marketing teams in creating collateral and enablement materials for delivered features.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical product management, software engineering, or application security.

  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade software products in a fast-paced environment.

  • Deep technical understanding of modern web architectures, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, microservices, containers (Kubernetes), and cloud-native deployments.

  • Extensive knowledge of the application threat landscape, including OWASP Top 10, API vulnerabilities, and botnet behaviors.

  • Exceptional ability to operate within an agile framework, managing backlogs and prioritizing sprints alongside engineering.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate complex technical requirements and customer benefits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with application delivery concepts, load balancing, proxy architectures, and edge computing environments.

  • Experience working with or building technologies focused on Layer 7 inspection, payload analysis, and anomaly detection.

  • A highly technical, hands-on approach with a strong interest in understanding technology mechanics under the hood.

  • Strong team player mentality with a demonstrated ability to foster collaboration across geographically distributed teams.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

$153,000.00 - $247,500.00/yr
